I'm Pregnant!

Yes, it's true. 

No, it's not a joke.

Yes, I have 4 kids already.

No, it wasn't an "accident".

Yes, WE ARE ECSTATIC!!!

So, I found out I was expecting baby #5 just before Christmas and then, I got sick. 
Like, the kind of sick that keeps you in bed for weeks. I actually wasn't sick as in "the flu", more like, an injury.


I ended up with rib issues... but to explain simply to you, I felt like my ribcage had been smashed with a bat.




Fun? Not.




So, although I tend to have super easy pregnancies with very little symptoms, the first 3 months kinda sucked. 


We wanted to spread the news early to the kids and then the rest of the world, a kind of early Christmas surprise. 
Then we figured equating the pregnancy with me wincing every time I inhaled a breath, probably would take some of the excitement away from the kids.


So, family birthdays, Christmas and New Years passed in a blur. All I can say is thank God I made hubby take pics and video like a mad man because I recall almost nothing.


By mid January, I was actually sane enough to start keeping track of what week I was in my pregnancy and now I can't believe I'm almost 6 months along!


To end this pathetically sad story, the kids are over the moon at having another baby in the family. 
Hubby and I are relishing in the relaxed feeling of pregnancy #5... we did all our worrying during pregnancies 1-3.


In a nutshell, I feel extremely blessed. 


I have a wonderful husband who works hard and finds much of his joy being with me and the kids.
We have 4 beautiful children who drive us crazy and melt our hearts every day. 
New baby, is moving up a storm now and the whole thing amazes me, every single time.

3 MONTH ULTRASOUND

If you were to ask me, we are already a family of 7. It just so happens that 1 of our kids is totally well-behaved, never cries, sleeps through the night and follows me everywhere I go!


Is it wrong to have favorites?
